Mutual-Coupling Aware Communication Models for Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces

In this talk, I will introduce an approach for modeling and optimizing Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces in the presence of mutual coupling and by taking into account the tunable impedance that controls the scattering of the radiating elements of the Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface.
