Transformers for Power Allocation in Cell-Free Networks

This talk introduces the challenges and opportunities of cell-free networks for 6G and presents a transformer-based neural network for efficient power allocation. Unlike traditional methods, the model predicts uplink and downlink power directly from user and access point locations, achieving near-optimal performance. It adapts to varying network sizes without retraining, demonstrating a flexible and robust approach for next-generation wireless systems.
